New Paint Trends for 2021

Home-Banner-Paint-and-Dec

At M J Burt Property Maintenance Ltd, we always try to keep on track of the latest paint and colour trends and according to Ideal Home magazine, these are the looks that we should all be looking out for in 2021. They’ve said that ‘Our homes are our own personal sanctuary, a space where we want to feel safe, comforted and – above all else – happy.’ And we couldn’t agree more.

These are a few of our personal favourites from the list:

New Neutrals

Neutral Paint

Milky, Neutral Tones have replaced the cooler grey tones favoured in recent years. With more of us working from home, 2021 will be the year that we create cosy spaces, moving away from the grey tones of years previous.

Grounded Tones

Grounded Paint

Earthy shades can be used to create a warm, safe space. Taking nature as one of its main influences, this trend is guaranteed to make your living space feel cosy, yet clean and fresh.

Green landscapes

Green Paint

Is green the new grey? It is starting to appear everywhere, from kitchens to office spaces, lounges to bedrooms, this trend is a firm favourite of ours. Naturally (pardon the pun!) this trend tends to take inspiration from nature, creating a sense of calm within your home.

Olive Greens

Olive Paint

This natural tone is perfect for making an ‘outdoor/indoor’ environment. We love how relaxing this tone will make you feel; it’s perfect for any room of the house. Why not give your kitchen cupboards an update with this beautiful tone?

Warming Mulberry Tones

Mulberry Paint

Dark reds and Mulberry tones are perfect for cosy autumn and winters evenings. These colours are so rich and inviting when the weather turns colder and we want to curl up and hibernate (who doesn’t after the 2020 that we’ve all had?!)
